A Resolution Waiving the Bid Process and Authorizing the Rechassis/Remount 2018 Osage Ambulance with a 2024 E Chassis Remount Osage Warrior from North Central Emergency Vehicles

                     Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,

                     Whereas, included in the approved 23-24 budget in the amount of $135,000.00, is the rechassis/remount of the Fire Departments 2018 Osage Ambulance with a 2024 Ford E 450 Chassis Remount Warrior; 

                     Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) Fire Department purchased the 2018 Osage Ambulance from North Central Emergency Vehicles in 2020 and therefore will accept the quote #R1075 from North Central Emergency Vehicles for the installation of chassis/remount in the amount of $126,116.00 which is $8884.00 less than what was budgeted.

                     

                                          NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

                                          Section 1:                     The Village of Romeoville approves the Fire Department Rechassis/Remount 2018 Osage Ambulance with a 2024 Fore E Chassis Remount Osage Warrior.

                                          Section 2:                     That the quote hereto aforementioned submitted by North Central Emergency Vehicles in the amount of $126,116.00 be approved.

                                          Section 3:                     The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
