A Resolution Waiving the Bid Process for Fencing at the Romeoville Fire Academy training site at 1321 Enterprise Drive

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, Romeoville Public Works, on behalf of the Fire Department and Romeoville Fire Academy, obtained 2 quotes for the purchase of fencing to be installed on the entire training site at Fire Station 2, located at 1321 Enterprise Drive;
Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) Public Works department has heretofore reviewed the quotes and in agreement with the Romeoville Fire Department and Romeoville Fire Academy have chosen the fencing quote from Northwest Cedar (Quote 1) in the amount of $53,265.00;
Whereas, the Public Works department is also familiar with the workmanship and service provided by Northwest Cedar as they utilize this vendor for other fencing and service throughout the Village;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville approves the Fire Department/Fire Academy/Public Works Departments to accept the quote obtained from Northwest Cedar, Romeoville, IL, for the installation of fencing at the training site located at 1321 Enterprise Drive, Romeoville, IL;
Section 2: That the quote hereto aforementioned submitted by Northwest Cedar, Romeoville, IL in the estimated amount of $53,625.00 is attached;
Section 3: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
