A Resolution to Approve Professional Service Task Order from Robinson Engineering for the 2022 System Wide Flow Monitoring Project

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,

Whereas, Robinson Engineering will be providing engineering services to system wide flow monitoring; and,

Whereas, Robinson Engineering will be providing a rainfall monitoring and assessment of wet-weather flows for prioritization of sanitary sewer flow monitoring basins to identify and reduce infiltration and inflow in the system; and,

Whereas, the total project cost not to exceed $115,260 Task Order No. 22-01 for the amount of $115,260.00; and,



NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.

Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville approves the professional service task order for Robinson Engineering for the 2022 System Wide Flow Monitoring Project.

Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.

Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.
