A Resolution to Waive the Bid Process and Accept the Price Quote from H2I Group for the material, freight and installation of two Fold Up Gym Divider Curtains at the Athletic and Event Center.

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, the expenditures for the installation of two Fold Up Gym Divider Curtains at the Athletic and Event Center are available in the Fiscal Year 2021/2022 Budget; and,
Whereas, a price quote of $46,193.00 has been received from H2I Group for the Installation of two Fold Up Gym Divider Curtains at the Athletic and Event Center;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Waiver of Public Bid Requirements: Pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00 the Village hereby waives the public bidding requirements otherwise applicable to the installation of two fold up gym divider curtains, and accepts the price quote from H2I Group for the installation of two Fold Up Gym Divider Curtains at the Athletic and Event Center in the amount of $46,193.00.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the vali...
