A Resolution Awarding of the Contract for the Pinnacle Drive Roadway Extension Project

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville ("The Village") is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, a bid letting for the Pinnacle Drive Roadway Extension Project was held on June 9, 2021, and bids were received from six prequalified bidders; and,
Whereas, the low responsive and responsible bidder was identified as P.T. Ferro Construction Company with a bid of $2,212,380.56, and staff and Robinson Engineering has verified the bid is properly complete and accurate; and,
Whereas, the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO) has provided a grant for the construction of the project, including construction engineering, on a reimbursement basis up to an amount of $3,000,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville awards the contract for the Pinnacle Drive Roadway Extension Project in the amount of $2,212,380.56.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.
