A Resolution to Approve Payment to P.T. Ferro Construction Company for Bridge Maintenance Work

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, the expenditures for bridge maintenance work performed by P.T. Ferro Construction Company up to the amount of $400,000 are allocated in the Fiscal Year 2020/2021 Budget and approved for payment by Resolution 20-2923, dated June 3, 2020; and,
Whereas, invoices for this work totaling $338,331.00 have been submitted for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.
Section 4: Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
