A Resolution to Waive the bid process and accept the Price Quote for the Purchase of a 2022 Ford F550 Versalift SST-0-EIH-02, with Dakota Aluminum Utility Body (45' work height) from Power Equipment

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, the expenditures to purchase a 2022 Ford F-550 Versalift SST-40-EIH-02, with Dakota Aluminum utility body (45' work height) from Power Equipment, WCGL Suburban Purchase Cooperative; and,
Whereas, the Village has approved in the FY 20/21 budget, account number 22.13.16.410, for the purchase. The purchase quote of the 2022 Ford F-550 Versalift SST-40-EIH-02, with Dakota Aluminum utility body (45' work height); and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Waiver of Public Bid Requirements: Pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00 the Village hereby waives the public bidding requirements otherwise applicable to the purchase of a 2022 Ford F-550 Versalift SST-40-EIH-02, with Dakota Aluminum utility body (45' work height) in the amount of $107,000.00.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same...
