A Resolution Approving a Plat of Vacation of Utility Easements (Romeoville Athletic and Event Center Expansion)

WHEREAS, the Village of Romeoville is presently undertaking the expansion of the existing Romeoville Athletic and Event Center, and to facilitate the construction of such expansion, has determined that it is necessary for certain existing utility easements to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, the plat prepared by Robinson Engineering Ltd. attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit A depicts the vacation of the existing utility easements required for the expansion of the Romeoville Athletic and Event Center; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Romeoville has determined that it is in its best interests to approve the plat of vacation of utility easements, all in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE. The foregoing Recitals are hereby incorporated into this resolution as if fully set forth in this Section 1.
SECTION TWO. That the proper officers of the Village are authorized and directed to execute and attest to the execution of the plat of vacation of utility easements attached hereto as Exhibit A, subject to final Village Manager and Village Attorney review, and to thereafter cause the same to be recorded.
SECTION THREE. That the various provisions of this Resolution are to be considered severable and if any part or portion of this Resolution shall be held invalid by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Resolution.
SECTION FOUR. All prior Resolutions and Resolutions, or parts thereof in conflict or inconsistent with this Resolution are hereby expressly repealed only to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency.
