A Resolution to Authorize the Purchase of a 2021 Ford E-450 with an Osage Super Warrior Ambulance Module from North Central Emergency Vehicle, Inc.

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, the purchase of ambulance is necessary to meet the service demands of the Covid 19 pandemic as staffing a third ambulance also give us the flexibility to a designate an ambulance as a Covid 19 ambulance only; and
Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (The Village) has heretofore reviewed the purchase proposal from North Central Emergency Vehicles, Inc., Plainfield, IL and
Whereas, the 2021 Ford E-450 with an Osage Super Warrior Ambulance Module will provide the Village with the features and functionality it desires; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville approves the staff to purchase one 2021 Ford E-450 with an Osage Super Warrior Ambulance Module from North Central Emergency Vehicle, Inc.,
Section 2: That proposal hereto aforementioned made by North Central Emergency Vehicles, Inc., Plainfield, IL in the estimated amount of $244,506.00 is attached
Section 3: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
