A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of Addendum 4 and Addendum 5 to Contract dated August 2, 2019 between the Village of Romeoville and Dewberry Architects, Inc. (Aquatics Center Building Design Services)

WHEREAS, the Village of Romeoville and Dewberry Architects, Inc. have heretofore entered into a contract dated August 2, 2019 and Addenda 1, 2 and 3 thereto pertaining to the Romeoville Athletic and Event Center (RAEC) Expansion Project;
WHEREAS, the Village of Romeoville has determined that the RAEC Expansion Project should for the benefit of the general public be modified to include the development of an aquatics center including a lap pool, zero depth area, water slide and related recreational and support amenities; and
WHEREAS, in order to memorialize the above-mentioned modification to the RAEC Expansion Project, the Village of Romeoville and Dewberry Architects, Inc. have determined that it necessary to execute Addenda 4 and 5 to modify the aforementioned contract and prior addenda to include and provide for design services related to the development of the aquatics center.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, that:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby expressly incorporated into and made a part of this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Approval of Execution of Addenda: The proper officers of the Village are hereby authorized and directed to execute Addendum 4 and Addendum 5 to the contract with Dewberry Architects, Inc. dated as of August 2, 2019, copies of which addenda are respectively attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibits A and B.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Resolutions or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
