RESOLUTION: A Resolution Awarding the Rt 53-Normantown Pedestrian Improvement Project to Copenhaver Construction Inc.

Whereas, The Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, Village Staff received formal bids from five (5) qualified contractors to perform construction related services for the Rt 53 and Normantown Rd Pedestrian Improvement Project and,
Whereas, Village Staff has reviewed the formal bids and recommends the Village Board award the contract to Copenhaver Construction Inc. in the amount of $143,738.00;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ACCEPTANCE AND AWARD OF CONTRACT: The Village of Romeoville hereby awards the contract to Copenhaver Construction Inc. in the amount of $143,738.00 for the construction of the Rt 53 and Normantown Rd Pedestrian Improvement Project.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
Section 3: RECITALS: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
