RESOLUTION: Waive the Bidding Requirements and Utilize the Sourcewell Municipal Cooperative Purchasing Program for the Purchase of Lift Gates and Snowplow Blades for Two Pickup Trucks

Whereas, The Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, The Village will utilize the Sourcewell Contract #080114-MTE for the purchase of lift gates and snowplow blades for two pickup trucks from Monroe Truck Equipment; and,
Whereas, The Village has funding available for the purchase of the lift gates and snowplow blades in the current FY2019/20 budget; and,
Whereas, Village Staff recommends waiving the bidding requirements and purchasing two lift gates and two snowplow blades through the Sourcewell Purchasing Program; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville will waive the bidding requirements and utilize the Sourcewell Purchasing Program for the purchase of two lift gates and two snowplow blades for a total purchase price of $24,962.00.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
