A Resolution Awarding the Contract for the Raw Sewage Screen Building Ventilation Improvements Project to Dahme Mechanical Industries, Inc. in the amount of $109,999.99 (3 formal bids were received).

Whereas, The Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, Village Staff accepted formal bids from three (3) qualified contractors to perform construction related services for the Raw Sewage Screen Building Ventilation Improvements Project; and,
Whereas, Village Staff determined that the bid from Southwest Town Mechanical is non-responsive due to multiple irregularities; and,
Whereas, Village Staff has reviewed the remaining bids and recommends the Village Board formally award the contract to Dahme Mechanical Industries Inc. as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the amount of $109,999.99;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ACCEPTANCE AND AWARD OF CONTRACT: The Village of Romeoville hereby awards the contract to Dahme Mechanical Industries Inc. in the amount of $109,999.99 for the Raw Sewage Screen Building Ventilation Improvements Project.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
Section 3: RECITALS: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
