Waive the bid process and accept the sole price quotation of $39,343.50, for Purchase of Six (6) Motorola APX8000 portable radios and Remote Speaker Mic’s

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970: and,
Whereas, the Village has received a SWARM grant sufficient to fund the desired purchase; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville approves the staff to enter into agreement with Communications Direct Inc. of St. Charles, IL g Inc., In the AMOUNT OF $39,343.50, for the purchase of six (6) Motorola APX8000 dual band portable radios and Display Remote Speaker Mic’s HMN4104B.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
