A Resolution for Approval of the ComEd Electric Facilities Service Agreement for the Supplying of Electricity to the New Public Works Department Facilities

Body

Whereas, ComEd is the supplier of electricity to the northern Illinois region as approved and regulated by the Illinois Commerce Commission; and,

 

Whereas, an Electric Facilities Service Acknowledgement has been received from ComEd for the supplying of electrical service to the new public works facilities currently under construction, and the Acknowledgement includes a request for payment in the amount of $69,234.88 for the installation of the electrical facilities necessary to supply the power; and,

 

Whereas, the expenditures for the electrical service to the new buildings are included in the Fiscal Year 2019/2020 Budget.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1:                     Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.

 

Section 2:                     Approval of PaymentThe Village hereby approves the ComEd Electric Facilities Acknowledgement and the request for payment in the amount of $69,234.88 contained therein.

 

Section 3:                     Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.

 

Section 4:                     Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.

 

Section 5:                     Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
