Authorizing the Village to Enter into a Consignment Agreement for the Sale of Village vehicles with Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc.

 

                     Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,

 

                     Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) has heretofore entered into a master lease agreement with Enterprise FM Trust per Resolution 18-2496; and,

 

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) has heretofore reviewed the Consignment Agreement to sell Village surplus vehicles at wholesale in separate transactions or in conjunction with transactions involving leasing vehicles from Enterprise Fleet Management; and,

 

                     Whereas, to permit prompt commencement of the consignment agreement, the Village must accept and execute the necessary documents with Enterprise Feet Management.

 

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

 

 

Section 1.                     That the Village Board desires to execute the necessary agreements and contracts with Enterprise Fleet Management to sell vehicles on the Village’s behalf.

 

Section 2.                     That the consignment agreement prepared by Enterprise Fleet Management be accepted.

 

Section 3.                     That the President and Clerk or the Village Manager, Police Chief, Fire Chief and Finance Director as their designees are hereby respectively authorized to execute and attest to the execution of contracts and agreements with Enterprise Fleet Management accepted herein and execute any further documents necessary to effectuate the same.                     

 

Section 4.                     The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
