RESOLUTION: Waive the Bidding Requirements and Utilize the State Bid Contract for the Purchase of Two Ford F150 Pickup Trucks

Whereas, The Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, The Village will utilize the State Bid Contract for the purchase of two Ford F150 pickup trucks from Murrow Brothers Ford Inc.; and,
Whereas, The Village has $70,000 approved in the FY 19/20 Budget for the purchase of the F150 pickup trucks. The purchase price of these vehicles is $33,545.00 each, for a total amount of $67,090.00, which is below the budgeted amount; and,
Whereas, The Village Staff recommends waiving the bidding requirements and utilizing the State Bid Contract for the purchase of two Ford F150 pickup trucks; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville will waive the bidding requirements and utilize the State Bid Contract for the purchase of two Ford F150 pickup trucks for a total amount of $67,090.00.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
