A Resolution Authorizing the Application of an
OSLAD Grant for Project Lake Strini

WHEREAS, The Village of Romeoville desires to provide a natural and safe usage for residents to enjoy; and
WHEREAS, The Village of Romeoville, Parks and Recreation Department wishes to apply for an OSLAD Grant through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for 50% funding for the improvements to Lake Strini; and
WHEREAS, A Resolution of Authorization must be included as part of the OSLAD Grant application signed by proper Village authorities (Exhibit A).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, that:
SECTION ONE: This resolution authorizes the Village of Romeoville, Parks and Recreation Department to apply for an OSLAD Grant through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for $400,000 funding for project Lake Strini.
SECTION TWO: The proper authorities for the Village of Romeoville will sign the Resolution of Authorization required as part of the grant application (Exhibit A).
SECTION THREE: This resolution shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
