TAX LEVY ORDINANCE-FISCAL YEAR ENDING APRIL 30, 2019

AN ORDINANCE FOR THE LEVYING AND COLLECTION OF TAXES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING THE FIRST DAY OF MAY, 2018 AND ENDING THE 30TH DAY OF APRIL 2019.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

Section 1: That a tax for the following sums of money, or as much thereof as may be authorized by law, is hereby assessed and levied upon and against all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the Village of Romeoville, Will County, Illinois, subject to taxation according to the value of said property as the same is assessed and equalized for State and County purposes for the current fiscal year which said tax is hereby levied for the current fiscal year of said Village commencing on the first day of May, 2018 and ending the 30th day of April, 2019 and said levy and collection of taxes to be applied for liquidation and payment of the appropriations heretofore made by the Appropriation Ordinance heretofore passed and published by and under the authority of the Village of Romeoville, Will County, Illinois.

Section 2: That the amounts hereinafter set forth or so much thereof as may be authorized by law as may be needed are to be used for the purposes as are hereinafter described and enumerated.

That the amounts appropriated for each object or purpose appear in the column under
the words "APPROPRIATED". The amounts appropriated are totaled for each subdivision as a total of that column. The amount to be raised by taxation is totaled for each subdivision as total of that column under the words "LEVIED".

Section 3: That any unexpected balance of any item of appropriation made by this Ordinance may be expended in making up any insufficiency in any other item of appropriation made by this Ordinance.
