An Ordinance of the Village Of Romeoville, Will County Illinois Amending Ordinance No. 18-1455 Designating the Independence Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area of Said Village a Redevelopment Project Area Pursuant To the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act

WHEREAS, it is desirable and for the best interests of the citizens of the Village of Romeoville, Will County, Illinois (the "Village"), for the Village in conformance with the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act (65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-1 et seq.) as amended (the "Act"), to amend Ordinance No. 18-1455 which designated the area known as "Independence Boulevard TIF" as a redevelopment project area (the "Area"); and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities have heretofore by ordinance adopted and approved the First Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan and Project for the Independence Boulevard TIF, which Amended Plan and Project were the subject, along with the amended designation hereinafter made, of a public hearing held on September 19, 2018, and it is now necessary and desirable to amend the area previously designated as a Redevelopment Project Area pursuant to the Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Romeoville, Will County, Illinois, in the exercise of its statutory, home rule and other powers, as follows:
Section 1. Area Designated
That Ordinance No. 18-1455 is hereby amended to include the Additional Area, as described by Permanent Index Number in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out in full by this reference. The street location (as near as practicable) for the Additional Area is described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out in full by this reference. The map of the Additional Area is depicted on Exhibit "C" attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out in full by this reference.
