A Resolution Accepting a Proposal for a Pavement Evaluation Condition Assessment and Pavement Management Services from Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA).

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and
Whereas, the Village of Romeoville has determined that there is a need to update its existing pavement management system; and
Whereas, the Village of Romeoville identified, worked with two (2) qualified specialized consultants (Ayers - Madison, WI and ARA - Champaign, IL) to identify scope and deliverables; and
Whereas, Village Staff accepted proposals from both specialized consultants for this project; and,
Whereas, Village Staff has reviewed the proposals and found ARA’s to be most in-line with the Village’s expectations and budget; and,
Whereas, Village Staff recommends the Village Board formally accept the proposal from Applied Research Associates in the amount of $64,750.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSAL: The Village of Romeoville hereby accepts the proposal from Applied Research Associates in the amount of $64,750.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
Section 3: RECITALS: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
