Resolution: Acceptance of Public Improvements - Home Depot Driveway Removal

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, the developer is requesting the Village accept the improvements for the Home Depot Driveway Removal; and,
Whereas, Village Staff has inspected the improvements and determined that they are in substantial compliance with the approved Site, Landscape, and Engineering Plans for the Home Depot Driveway Removal; and,
Whereas, Village Staff has verified that payment of all outstanding invoices has been made, that all other obligations have been completed, and that the improvements are in compliance with all applicable Village Ordinances; and,
Whereas, Village Staff recommends acceptance and ownership of the public improvements for the Home Depot Driveway Removal; and,
Whereas, Section 158.005(D)(2) prohibits acceptance of public improvements prior to May 1st and after December 1st of each calendar year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Village of Romeoville accepts the public improvements for the Home Depot Driveway Removal and authorizes release of the development security in the amount of $6,341.31 with no requirement for the establishment of a maintenance bond.
Section 2. The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
