Resolution: Waive the Bidding Requirements for the Purchase of One 2019 Ford F550 Truck with Versalift Aerial Platform Lift

Whereas, The Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, The Village will purchase one Ford F550 chassis and Versalift telescopic aerial lift platform from Power Equipment Leasing Company; and,
Whereas, The Village has funds available in the FY 18/19 Budget for the purchase of the F550 truck with Versalift aerial platform lift. The purchase price of this vehicle is $102,036.00; and,
Whereas, The Village Staff recommends waiving the bidding requirements for the purchase of one Ford F550 truck with Versalift aerial platform lift; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville will waive the bidding requirements for the purchase of one Ford F550 truck with Versalift aerial platform lift for the amount of $102,036.00.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
