Authorizing the Acceptance of Proposals and the Execution of the contract for the lease purchase agreement with BciCapital, Inc. for a 2018 Ford E-450 with an Osage Super Warrior Ambulance Module.

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville ("The Village") is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, the Village of Romeoville ("The Village") has heretofore reviewed the lease purchase proposal from Fifth Third Bank; and,
Whereas, the Village's current 2008 Medtec ambulance has reached the end of its useful life as a front line vehicle and does not provide the features, functionality and reliability needed by the Village to continually operate in an effective and efficient manner and the purchasing and leasing of the ambulance was budgeted and approved in the 2018/2019 Fiscal Year Budget; and,
Whereas, the 2018 E-450 with an Osage Super Warrior Ambulance Module will provide the Village with the features and functionality it desires; and,
Whereas, the Village Board approve the purchase of the ambulance on March 21, 2018 through Resolution 18-2453; and,
Whereas, to permit prompt reimbursement of the aforementioned funds, the Village must execute a lease and other necessary documents with BciCapital, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the proposal hereto aforementioned made by BciCapital, in the estimated amount of $133,905 over the course of the lease is attached.
Section 2. That the President and Clerk or the Village Manager or Finance Director or Deputy Village Clerk as their designees are hereby respectively authorized to execute and attest to the execution of proposals. agreements and contracts with BciCapital Inc. are accepted herein and execute any further documents necessary to effectuate the same.
