Resolution to Waive the Bidding Requirements and Utilize the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) for the Purchase of One Paving Compaction Roller

Whereas, The Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, The Village will utilize the National Joint Powers Alliance for the purchase of one Caterpillar CB7 vibratory compaction roller from Patten/Cat Industries; and,
Whereas, The Village has $115,000 approved in the FY 18/19 budget for the purchase of a paving compaction roller; and,
Whereas, Village Staff recommends waiving the bidding requirements and purchasing a paving compaction roller through the National Joint Powers Alliance; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville will waive the bidding requirements and utilize the National Joint Powers Alliance for the purchase of one Caterpillar CB7 vibratory compaction roller at the purchase price of $103,710.00.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
