Resolution to Waive the Bidding Requirements and Utilize the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative for the Purchase of One 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe Sport Utility Vehicle

Whereas, The Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, The Village will utilize the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative Contract #147 for the purchase of one 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe Sport Utility Vehicle; and,
Whereas, The Village has $42,000 approved in the FY 18/19 Budget for the purchase of the sport utility vehicle. The purchase price of this vehicle is $37,582.89, which is below the budgeted amount of $42,000.00; and,
Whereas, The Village Staff recommends waiving the bidding requirements and utilizing the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative for the purchase of one 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe sport utility vehicle; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville will waive the bidding requirements and utilize the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative for the purchase of one 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe sport utility vehicle for the amount of $37,582.89.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
