A Resolution Authorizing the Waiving of Bids for the Provisions of Apparel
for the Village Department of Parks and Recreation (Programs and Staff)
for a One Year Term and Authorizing a Contract for the Same with BWM Global

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of Chapter 36.43(C) of the Village Code of Ordinances, the Village of Romeoville may by a vote of 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office, waive the otherwise applicable requirements for public bidding, whether for labor, services or work, the construction of public works or improvements, or the purchase, lease or sale of personal property, materials, equipment or supplies,
WHEREAS, the Village of Romeoville requested proposals for the provision of apparel for the Village Parks and Recreation Department programs and staff for the term of May 3, 2018, through April 30, 2019; and
WHEREAS, based upon review of the applicable proposals and proposed contractor qualifications, the Village has determined to enter into a contract with BWM Global for the provision of apparel for the Village Parks and Recreation Department programs and staff for a term beginning May 3, 2018, and ending April 30, 2019, all upon the terms and conditions set forth in the proposal submitted to the Village by BWM Global attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, that:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby expressly incorporated into and made a part of this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Waiver of Public Bid Requirements: Pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS
