A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Lease Agreement with MailFinance to lease a NeoPost IN-600 Postage Machine for the Parks and Recreation Department

WHEREAS, the Village of Romeoville (“Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1070; and

 

WHEREAS, the Village has previously had a lease with MailFinance for a NeoPost postage machine and were satisfied with their product and service; and

 

WHEREAS, the Village has reviewed and recommends entering into an agreement with MailFinance for the lease of a NeoPost IN-600 series postage machine (incorporated herein as Exhibit B) for the total amount of $9,639.00 at $153 per month for 63 months (incorporated herein as Exhibit A); and

 

WHEREAS, the lease for a postage machine was budgeted and approved in the 2017-2018 fiscal year budget and the proposed lease described herein will be made within the constraints of the budget; and

 

WHEREAS, to permit prompt commencement and installation of the aforementioned machine, the Village must execute said lease with MailFinance for the performance of such installation.

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, that:

 

Section 1:                     The Village of Romeoville approves the proposal from MailFinance in the total amount of $9,639.00, representing a monthly lease payment of $153.00 per month for 63 months, for the lease of a postage machine for the Parks and Recreation Department.

 

Section 2:                     That the President and Clerk are hereby respectively authorized to execute and attest to the execution of a lease and related documentation with MailFinance reflecting the proposal accepted herein.

 

Section 3:                     The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
