An Ordinance Approving the Naming of Mews Lane for the
Highpoint Town Square development

WHEREAS, HPTS, LLC, received approval for the development of 72 apartment units on a vacant site located in the Highpoint Apartment Community; and,
WHEREAS, the approved Final Development Plan includes a private driveway to access the apartment units; and,
WHEREAS, these businesses must have separate addresses for utility billing, mail collection, and 9-1-1 emergency service; and,
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department, Fire Department, and Police Department have found that naming this road would reduce confusion in the event of an emergency situation; and,
WHEREAS, HPTS, LLC has requested the naming of Mews Lane.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That the above recitals are hereby incorporated and made a part of this ordinance;
Section 2: Approval is herby granted that the private road depicted in Exhibit A be named Mews Lane.
Section 3: The Village Clerk shall notify all emergency personnel of such name change.
Section 4: The Community Development Department and GIS Coordinator shall create addresses for all of the businesses along this private road. The Post Office shall be notified of these addresses.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval, and publication as provided by law.
