Authorizing a Lease Agreement with Martin Whalen

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville ("The Village") is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, the Village of Romeoville ("The Village") has heretofore reviewed the
Equipment Lease Agreement and Total Copy Coverage Agreement from Martin
Whalen Office Solutions, Inc.; and,
Whereas, the copy equipment from Martin Whalen Office Solutions, Inc. will provide the Village with the added features and functionality it desires; and,
Whereas, to permit prompt commencement and installation of the aforementioned copy equipment, the Village must execute a lease with Martin Whalen Office Solutions, Inc. for performance of such installation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That the contracts and proposals hereto aforementioned made by Martin Whalen Office Solutions, Inc. in the monthly amount of $1,148.78 for the lease and maintenance of copy equipment is accepted.
Section 2.
That the President and Clerk are hereby respectively authorized to execute and attest to the execution of contracts with Martin Whalen Office Solutions, Inc. accepted herein and execute any further documents necessary to effectuate the same.
Section 3.
The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
