Title

Waive the Bidding Requirements and Utilize the State of Illinois Contract #4018300 for the Purchase of Three 2017 Ford F-250 XL 4x2 Trucks

 

Body

WHEREAS, The Village of Romeoville (“Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1070; and

 

WHEREAS, The Village will utilize the State of Illinois Contract #4018300 for the purchase of three 2017 Ford F-250 trucks (Exhibit C) from Landmark Ford, 2410 Prairie Crossing Drive, Springfield, Illinois; and

 

WHEREAS, One of the Ford F-250 trucks will come without a lift-gate for a cost of $31,363 (Exhibit A), and two of the Ford F-250 trucks will come with a lift-gate for a cost of $35,113 each (Exhibit B), and

 

WHEREAS, The Village approved $165,000 for Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Budget for the purchase of three 2017 Ford F-250 trucks, and the cost to purchase is only $101,589; and

 

WHEREAS, The Village staff recommends waiving the bidding requirements and utilizing the State of Illinois Contract for the purchase of these three 2017 Ford F-250 trucks; and

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, that:

 

Section 1:                     The Village of Romeoville will waive the bidding requirements and utilize the State of Illinois Contract #4018300 for the purchase of three 2017 Ford F-250 trucks for a total amount of $101,589.

 

Section 2:                     The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
