Resolution Waiving the Bidding Requirements and Utilize the State Bid Contract for the Purchase of a 2017 Ford F350 Crew Cab Pickup Truck

Whereas, The Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, The Village will utilize the State of Illinois Purchase Contract #4018301 for the purchase of one Ford F350 crew cab pickup truck from Bob Ridings Fleet Sales; and,
Whereas, The Village has $42,000 approved in the FY 17/18 Budget for the purchase of the truck. The purchase price of this vehicle with snow plow is $41,349.00, below the budgeted amount; and,
Whereas, The Village Staff recommends waiving the bidding requirements and utilizing the State Bid Contract for the purchase of one Ford F350 crew cab pickup truck; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville will waive the bidding requirements and utilize the State of Illinois Purchase Contract #4018301 for the purchase of one Ford F350 crew cab pickup truck with snow plow for the amount of $41,349.00.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
