A Resolution Waiving Public Bidding Requirements to enter into a contract with Garage Floor Coating of Chicago IL., LLC, for Resurfacing of Apparatus Floor at Station 2

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, expenditures for the floor resurfacing project are allocated in the Fiscal Year 2017/2018 Budget; and,
Whereas, 3 proposals were received for this project, and the lowest proposal was submitted by Garage Floor Coating of Chicago IL., LLC in the amount of $24,750.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville approves the staff to enter into a contract with Garage Floor Coating of Chicago IL., LLC for the resurfacing of the apparatus floor at Station 2,
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
