A RESOLUTION APPROVING EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES
Body
WHEREAS, the Village of Romeoville Board of Trustees has met from time to time in Executive Session in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Open Meetings Act; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 2.06 of the Act, the Board has met in executive session to review the minutes kept of portions of meetings held in executive session, and to consider whether a need for confidentiality still exists with respect to all or any portion of such minutes, or whether all or any portion of such minutes no longer require confidential treatment and are available for public inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE. The foregoing Recitals are hereby incorporated into this resolution as if fully set forth in this Section 1.
SECTION TWO. That all of the executive session meeting minutes from those meetings listed in Exhibit A are hereby deemed to be approved, that the Board of Trustees hereby determines that a need for confidentiality still exists with respect to those executive session minutes listed in Section 1 of Exhibit A and that such minutes are therefore not available at this time for public inspection, and that the Board of Trustees hereby determines that those executive session minutes listed in Section 2 of Exhibit A no longer require confidential treatment and are available for public inspection.
SECTION THREE. That the various provisions of this Resolution are to be considered severable and if any part or portion of this Resolution shall be held invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Resolution.
SECTION FOUR. All prior Resolutions and Resolutions, or parts thereof in conflict or inconsistent with this Resolution are hereby expressly repealed only to the extent of such conflict...
