Title

A Resolution Approving a Supplement (No. 2) to the existing Preliminary Engineering Services Agreement for Federal Participation with  V3 Companies of Illinois for continuing Phase 1 Engineering Services Relating to the Combined Design Report and Environmental  Assessment  for Proposed I-55 Interchanges at Airport Road and IL 126.

Body

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,

 

Whereas, V3 Companies of Illinois has prepared a Supplement to the previously approved Phase 1 engineering services agreement; and,

 

Whereas, the Village Board has previously passed an Intergovernmental Agreement regarding the cost sharing arrangement for this project between the Villages of Romeoville, Plainfield and Bolingbrook; and,

 

Whereas, Village Staff has reviewed the proposed supplement (along with IDOT) and recommends the Village Board enter into an agreement with V3 Companies of Illinois in the amount not-to-exceed $493,801.76 plus a 5% contingency.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

 

Section 1.                     The Village of Romeoville modifies the existing agreement with V3 Companies of Illinois to continue to provide Phase 1 engineering services on the I-55 and Airport Road/IL 126 Interchange, in an amount not-to-exceed $493,801.76 plus a 5% contingency.

 

Section 2.                     The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.

 

Section 3:                     RECITALS:  The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
