An Ordinance Approving the Official Zoning Map - 2017
Body
WHEREAS, the Village of Romeoville has updated its Zoning Map to include annexations and zonings approved in the past year (attached as Exhibit A); and,
WHEREAS, the request for approval of the updated Zoning Map has met all of the procedural requirements of the Village of Romeoville, Village Board of Trustees, Planning and Zoning Commission (03/14/17) the Code of Ordinances, as amended; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of the updated Zoning Map; and,
WHEREAS, the request for approval of the updated Zoning Map fulfills the statutory requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That the above recitals and referenced reports are hereby made a part of this Ordinance.
Section 2: That approval of the updated Zoning Map, attached as Exhibit A, is hereby granted by the Village, in which the Village President is hereby authorized to sign, and the Village Clerk attest thereto, that said updated Zoning Map has met all of the requirements for approval.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
