A Resolution Declaring Surplus Property And Authorizing The Disposition Of Surplus Property

WHEREAS, the equipment owned by the Village of Romeoville listed in Exhibit A is no longer necessary or useful for the operation of the Village; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the corporate authorities of the Village that the disposal of said equipment is in the best interest of the Village of Romeoville; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village authorize and direct the disposition of said surplus property in any manner deemed sufficient.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS that:
Section 1: The items listed in Exhibit A shall be declared surplus property and shall be sold or disposed of in any manner in which is deemed sufficient.
Section 2: This resolution shall become effective upon passage, approval and publication, in Book and Pamphlet form as provided by law.
