Resolution Acceptance of Public Improvements TJ Maxx

Romeoville, Illinois

Body

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,

 

Whereas, the developer is requesting the Village to accept the improvements for the TJ Maxx development; and,

 

                     Whereas, Village Staff has inspected the improvements and determined that they are in substantial compliance with the approved Site, Landscape, and Engineering Plans for the TJ Maxx development; and,

 

Whereas, Village Staff has verified that payment of all outstanding invoices has been made, that all other obligations have been completed, and that the improvements are in compliance with all applicable Village Ordinances; and,

 

Whereas, Village Staff recommends acceptance and ownership of the public improvements for the TJ Maxx development; and,

 

Whereas, Section 158.005(D)(2) prohibits acceptance of public improvements prior to May 1st and after December 1st of each calendar year; and,

 

Whereas, the Developer is providing a one-year maintenance bond in the amount of $1,389.38 as required in Chapters 158.005 and 158.015 of the Village Code of Ordinances and the Will County Stormwater Ordinance.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1.                     The Village of Romeoville accepts the public improvements for the TJ Maxx development and authorizes a maintenance period of one year from the date of this resolution, secured by a maintenance bond in the amount of $1,389.38. 

Section 2.                     The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
