Title

An Ordinance Approving a Variance to the Zoning Code (Chapter 159) for Amazon Signage
Body

WHEREAS, Amazon (hereinafter referred to as "Applicant"), has requested the approval of a Zoning Variance. The variance request is for one (1) wall sign at 1125 Remington Blvd;

WHEREAS, the site, consisting of approximately 52 acres, is zoned P-B, Planned Business District; and,

WHEREAS, said request for Variance has met all of the procedural requirements of the Village of Romeoville, Village Board of Trustees, Zoning Board of Appeals (9/13/2016), Development Review Committee, and the Code of Ordinances, as amended; and,

WHEREAS, said request for Variance meets with the approval of the Village of Romeoville and hereby authorizes the Applicant to proceed according to the Development Regulations, Zoning Code and various requests made by the Development Review Committee, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Village Board of Trustees as described in the Report of the Zoning Board of Appeals (attached as Exhibit A), and supporting documentation; and,

WHEREAS, the request includes the following documents:
* Plans for the proposed wall sign (Exhibit B). The wall sign is 9'-10" tall at its tallest point.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

Section 1: That the above recitals and referenced reports are hereby made a part of this Ordinance;

Section 2: That approval of the Zoning Variance is hereby granted by the Village, in which the Village President is hereby authorized to sign, and the Village Clerk attest thereto, that the said Zoning Variance has met all of the requirements herewith and is authorized to proceed at the site at 1125 Remington Blvd and legally described as follows:
