A Resolution Approving a Professional Service Task Order from Strand Engineering for Additional Services on the Phase 2 Optimal Corrosion Control Study

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, Resolution 22-3499 was previously approved by the board for the phase 2 optimal corrosion control treatment study with Stand Associates; and,
Whereas, the Amendment total amount is $14,000, funds from account number 64.08.22.292 will be utilized; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville approves the professional service task order for Strand Associates for Optimal Corrosion Control Treatment Study (OCCT). Amendment No 1's Scope of Services will assist the Village in gathering and delivering treated Lake Michigan water samples for use in the ongoing corrosion control treatment study being conducted by Cornwell Engineering.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof....
