A Resolution to Accept the Quote from Spartan Turf Products for the Purchase of a New Ventrac 4520N Tractor with Attachments from the Sourcewell Purchasing Contract

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, the expenditures for the Ventrac 4520N Tractor with attachments are allocated in the FY26/27 Budget; and,
Whereas, Spartan Turf Products has provided a quote for the purchase of a Ventrac 4520N Tractor with attachments for $54,969.20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Waiver of Public Bid Requirements: Pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00 the Village hereby waives the public bidding requirements otherwise applicable to purchase of a Ventrac 4520N Tractor attachments utilizing Sourcewell’s Purchase Assistance Program Contract 112624-TTC, joint purchasing cooperative, and authorizes the purchase of the said Ventrac 4520N Tractor and attachments for the price of $54,969.20.
Section 3: Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
