A Resolution Approving a Professional Service for Two Task Orders from Robinson Engineering for Water Main Replacement – Year 3 and Spangler Road Water Main Replacement with Storm Sewer Improvements

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, Robinson Engineering will be providing engineering services for Task Order 26-07 and Task Order 26-09; and,
Whereas, the total task orders project cost does not exceed $350,000; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville approves the professional service task order from Robinson Engineering for the
Task Order 26-07 will provide design engineering services for the 5-year water main replacement – year 3 at a cost of $175,000.00.
Task Order 26-09 will provide design engineering for the Spangler Road water main replacement with storm sewer improvements at a cost of $175,000.00.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.
Section 5: Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage...
