A Resolution Accepting the Public Improvements of Village Place Apartments

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, the developer is requesting the Village accept the public improvements for the Village Place Apartments; and,
Whereas, Village Staff has inspected the improvements and determined that they are in substantial compliance with the approved Site, Landscape, and Engineering Plans for the Village Place Apartments; and,
Whereas, Village Staff has verified that payment of all outstanding invoices has been made, that all other obligations have been completed, and that the improvements are in compliance with all applicable Village Ordinances; and,
Whereas, Village Staff recommends acceptance and ownership of the public improvements for the Village Place Apartments; and,
Whereas, Section 158.005(D)(2) prohibits acceptance of public improvements prior to May 1st and after December 1st of each calendar year; and,
Whereas, the Developer is providing a one-year maintenance bond in the amount of $39,273.56 as required in Chapters 158.005 and 158.015 of the Village Code of Ordinances and the Will County Stormwater Ordinance.
