A Resolution Accepting the Proposal from Monroe Truck Equipment for the Purchase and Upfitting of a Reading Utility Body Installed on a New Ford F550 Chassis Utilizing Sourcewell Pricing

Whereas, The Village of Romeoville ("The Village") is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, The Village the equipment will be provided and installed by Monroe Truck Equipment as detailed in the proposal, Exhibit A; and,
Whereas, The Village has approved funds in the FY 27 Budget for the purchase and installation of the proposed equipment; and,
Whereas, The Village Staff recommends accepting the proposal for the purchase and installation of the equipment to upfit the new 2027 Ford F550 Chassis utilizing funds in the account 60.08.22.410; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Waiver of Public Bid Reguirements: Pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793- 00 the Village hereby waives the public bidding requirements otherwise applicable to the purchase and installation of the equipment to upfit the new 2027 Ford F550 Chassis for the Utility Department in the amount of $26,747.00 from Monroe Truck Equipment utilizing the Sourcewell Pricing Contract #062222-AEB-1.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validi...
