A Resolution to Waive the Bidding Process and Approve the Purchase of Three Stryker Xpedition Stair Chairs

                     Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,

                     Whereas, included in the approved 26-27 budget, is Project #26E3150FD, Purchase of (3) Powered Stair Chairs;

                     Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village) the Fire Department seeks approval to purchase three (3) Stryker Xpedition Powered Stair Chairs to replace existing manual stair chairs currently used for patient movement during lift assists and ambulance calls. These devices will improve responder safety, enhance patient handling, and increase efficiency in navigating steep or confined stairways. The equipment will be deployed on each of the Village’s frontline ambulances.

                                          NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

                                          Section 1:                     The Village of Romeoville approves the Fire Department purchase of (3) Xpedition Powered Stair Chairs;

                                          Section 2:                     That the quote hereto aforementioned submitted by Stryker (Sole Provider) in the amount of $71,000.55 be approved;

                                          Section 3:                     The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
