A Resolution to Accept the Proposal from V3 Construction Group for the Restoration of Lily Cache Slough

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and

 

Whereas, the Village will work with V3 Construction Group on additional restorations to the Lily Cache Slough; and,

 

                     Whereas, the funds are approved in the FY 27 in account number 01.08.20.225 to expense invoices associated with the restorations; and,

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

 

Section 1:                     Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.

 

Section 2:                     Adjustment to Contract: The Village of Romeoville hereby approves in an amount not to exceed $100,000, provided, further, however, that notwithstanding the preceding clause, expenditures for services within the restorations.

Section 3:                     Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.

Section 4:                     Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.

 

Section 5:                     Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
