A Resolution to Enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with Will County for Weber Road Landscaping

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville desires to install and maintain landscaping improvements to beautify the northwest corner of Weber Road and North Carillon Drive within the right-of-way of Weber Road; and,
Whereas, County of Will has requested that the Village enter into an intergovernmental agreement to establish the rights and responsibilities regarding the installation and maintenance of the landscaping within their right-of-way; and,
Whereas, the intergovernmental agreement document has been prepared for execution by the Village upon approval by the Village Board, to be subsequently executed by the County of Will.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Approval of Agreement: The intergovernmental agreement between the Village and the County of Will is hereby approved.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.
Section 5: Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
