An Ordinance Amending Chapter 37 of the Romeoville Code of Ordinances-Appendix A --Personnel Manual

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Romeoville desire to provide for a unified personnel system, and
WHEREAS, the many changes in various State and Federal laws along with the constant reviewing of all benefits and policies will require this manual to be updated from time to time, and
WHEREAS, this handbook is designed as a reference guide to the Village of Romeoville’s personnel policies, benefits, services, and practices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That the personnel manual attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit A is hereby adopted and shall be known as the Employee Handbook for the Village of Romeoville, subject to final Village Manager and Village Attorney review and approval.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall become effective upon passage, approval, and publication in book and pamphlet form as provided by law.
