A Resolution to Approve a Task Order from Strand Engineering for the Planning and Design Services for the Lake Water Supply Modifications

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, Strand Engineering will be providing engineering services related to the Planning and Design Services for the Lake Water Supply Modifications; and,
Whereas, the total project cost not to exceed $505,250 Task Order 24-02; and,
Whereas, the scope of work will consist of preparing an Illinois EPA State Revolving Loan Fund (SRF) Project Planning Document, preliminary design, and final design for the Lukancic Receiving Station which will consist of one Lake Michigan water supply receiving and pumping station and two above-grade water storage tanks and will be expensed in account number 64.08.22.409, and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville approves the professional service task order from Strand Engineering for the IEPA SRF Project Planning Document, Preliminary Design Services, Above-Grade Water Storage Tank Design Services, and Receiving and Pumping Station Design Services. The anticipated completion dates for each scope of work is as follows: Project Planning Document, December 2024; Preliminary Design Services, December 2024; Above-Grade Water Storage Tank Design Services, August 2025; Receiving and Pumping Station Design Services, August 2025.
