Whereas, the Village of Romeoville ("The Village") is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,

Whereas, a bid letting for the 135th Street from Weber Road to Independence Boulevard Decorative Lighting Phase 6 project was held on August 28, 2024, and bids were received from three prequalified bidders; and,

Whereas, the expenditures for the 135th Street from Weber Road to Independence Boulevard decorative street lighting project are available in the budget upon Village Board approval of the budget; and,

Whereas, three proposals were received for the decorative street lighting and the proposal with the lowest unit prices was submitted by Utility Dynamics Corporation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.

Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville awards the contract for the 135th Street from Weber Road to Independence Boulevard decorative street lighting project in the amount of $1,022,420.00.


Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.

Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.
